Privacy Policy

BaseMapped LLC ("we", "us", or "our") operates the BaseCalc HVAC mobile application ("BaseCalc HVAC" or the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you use the App.

1. Local-First Data

BaseCalc HVAC is designed as a local-first field tool. No BaseCalc HVAC account is required and the App does not send your job contacts, job worksheets, company settings, or calculation history to a BaseCalc HVAC cloud database.

a. Calculations and History

Calculation inputs, results, pass/fail messages, sizing guidance, and saved history are stored on your device so you can keep a job-site record.

b. Job Contacts, Worksheets, and Company Settings

Job contact names, contact details, worksheet items, quantities, site notes, job state, and company information you enter are stored locally on your device.

c. Worksheet PDF Export and Sharing

Job worksheet PDFs are generated on your device. A PDF is shared only when you choose to share it through email, messages, files, SpeakSheet, or another app.

2. Purchases and Advertising

BaseCalc HVAC offers optional paid subscriptions for Pro access. Payments are processed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and subscription entitlement status is managed through RevenueCat so the App can unlock Pro features, restore purchases, and confirm renewal status. We do not receive or store your payment card information.

This release does not require personalized ad tracking. If advertising is enabled in a future release, we will update this Privacy Policy and the related store privacy disclosures to match the live behavior of the App.

3. Diagnostics

App stores and device operating systems may provide limited diagnostics, crash logs, installation data, or performance information to help us maintain the App. This information is used to troubleshoot problems and improve reliability.

4. How We Use Information

• To run HVAC calculations on your device.
• To save local calculation history, job contacts, worksheets, and settings.
• To generate and share worksheet PDFs when you request it.
• To unlock and restore Pro subscription features.
• To diagnose bugs, improve reliability, and respond to support requests.
• To comply with legal obligations.

5. How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We do not intentionally collect your locally stored BaseCalc HVAC job contacts, worksheet data, company settings, or calculation history on BaseMapped servers.

When you choose to send a PDF or support email, information is shared through the service you select, such as your email provider, messaging app, SpeakSheet, or file-sharing app.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

Local data remains on your device until you delete it in the App or remove the App from your device. Removing the App deletes locally stored BaseCalc HVAC data from that device, subject to your operating system backups and restore settings.

For subscription entitlement or purchase-history data processed through RevenueCat, contact us at [email protected] to request deletion or assistance. BaseCalc HVAC does not create a BaseCalc account.

7. Security

We use reasonable safeguards appropriate for a local-first mobile app. No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, and you are responsible for reviewing calculations and exported worksheets before relying on or sharing them.

8. Your Choices

• You can delete job contacts, worksheets, and calculation history inside the App.
• You can delete all local App data by removing BaseCalc HVAC from your device.
• You can choose whether to share exported PDFs through other apps.
• You can contact us with privacy or deletion requests at the email below.

9. Children's Privacy

BaseCalc HVAC is a professional tool intended for adults and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and may provide additional notice where required.
