Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") before using the BaseCalc Electric, BaseCalc HVAC, or BaseCalc Plumbing mobile application (each an "App") operated by BaseMapped LLC ("we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, or using a BaseCalc App, you agree to these Terms.
The BaseCalc Apps provide trade-specific field calculators, saved calculation history, local job contacts, job worksheets, materials planning, and worksheet PDF export for electrical, HVAC, and plumbing work. The exact calculators and references available depend on the App you install.
Each BaseCalc App is a professional reference tool, not a substitute for professional judgment, licensed engineering review, legal advice, inspection, or authority-having-jurisdiction approval. Codes and standards change, local amendments may apply, and field conditions matter. You are responsible for verifying all calculations against current adopted codes, standards, manufacturer instructions, and applicable law before relying on them.
You retain ownership of the job contacts, worksheets, calculation inputs, calculation results, company settings, notes, and PDFs you create in the App ("User Content"). You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and backup of your User Content.
BaseCalc App data is stored locally on your device. If you delete an App, lose your device, or restore from a backup that does not include App data, your local records may be lost. You are responsible for exporting or backing up any records you need to retain.
Each App may offer monthly and yearly auto-renewing subscriptions that unlock Pro calculator and local workflow access for the purchased subscription period. Purchases are processed by Apple App Store or Google Play. The price and period are shown in the App before purchase. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled through your store account before the renewal deadline shown by the store. Purchases, cancellations, renewals, and refunds are also governed by the applicable store policies.
The BaseCalc Apps, BaseMapped, and their related software, designs, features, logos, and branding are owned by BaseMapped LLC or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you ownership of an App or our intellectual property.
The App may interact with Apple App Store, Google Play, operating system services, PDF sharing tools, and other apps you choose to use. Those services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies.
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that every calculation, code reference, worksheet, handoff, or PDF output will be correct for your specific project, jurisdiction, or business use.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BaseMapped LLC will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, goodwill, business opportunity, or job-site costs, arising out of or related to your use of a BaseCalc App. Our aggregate liability will not exceed the amount you paid for the applicable App or USD $100, whichever is greater.
You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or discontinue the App or any feature where required by law, store policy, safety concerns, or business reasons.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of a BaseCalc App after changes are posted means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, unless local law requires otherwise.
